i get over 31/32 mpg on a tank

i dont know why you mad he did what was asked..i think its something more with your car...honestly with the larger tb and driving habbits.......as for scott...the tunes gonna be a work in progess for awhile as it should be though

 

I'm not blaming anyone, my car is barely driveable right now, so it's understandable that the gas mileage sucks. I have a rough idle at times and after I start the car up I get a nice whiff of gasoline from it being so rich. It happens, and hopefully we can get it all worked out later

 

sorry i'm just pissed off.....not at thurman (with the exception of him not answering my calls).....its my daily driver and it's fucked up. i thought i stressed that enough before this all started.....apparently not

just can't afford the gas now so i can't drive it

My car is my daily driver, and it takes 10 tries to get it started. It's pretty embarrassing and I'm tired of people asking me if I need help getting my car to start. But oh well, it happens

 

i feel you.....i really do.....i just cant afford the dip in gas mileage is all. so i'm driving my g/f's L200 w/your old intake on it. nice car but not mine...ya know

btw the I/M didn't fit on it....the alternator is bigger on her car for some reason. so imma give that back to ya.

 

lol narrowband shows **** nut its not really acurate. its cool for guessing where ur at but if ur tuning a car u should seriously have a wideband and how long has this guy been tuning? i dnt understand how he could have possibly tuned u that rich and not caught it

 

thurman never "tuned" his car...just adjusted and removed some limters

 

oh i know about the wideband vs narrowband deal.....just saying the 2 are def coinciding with each other right now.

and i've been wondering the same thing......about how long has he been tuning and did i waste my $100 bucks on that instead of going to OTTP and getting a tune from them

i just wanted something simple.....i didn't really want the LS4 to begin with......i traded w/scotty so his car would work. being a nice guy n all. (no scotty i'm not hating on you homie ) i wanted my 60s installed and to be tuned for those in the first place.

 

if i could afford the $100 credit so i could get the tune with the ls4 tb i would swap u mine

ok so i understand he didnt really tune ur car so than uve never had ur car tuned for the ls4 tb?

 

i put the LS4 and tuned at the same time.....but the only things done were.....

LS4 scailer
no top speed limiter
redline upped to 7200
PE @ 2500 rpm @ WOT

thats it.

rodimusprime is getting 30mpg w/mods similar to mine w/the LS4

 

the ? is has thurman ever really tuned for the ls4. its a tricky tb to tune for on our cars and r u throwing any cels?

 

no never tuned an LS4 before, he just changed some scailer number in HPT for it. we all agreed it was the way to do it though......not throwing any CELs at all. not even the too rich one.
