well i blew my motor haha rod knock broke the bearings...

i'm so pissed now!

i got some rods for ya, SS/SC lol. all you need are some pistons that ive been told JE has that will make the rods work in the L61 and youre set. 200 bones and you can have them. theyre brand new

When you spin a bearing, you need a crank, and all new bearings. Because the crank gets messed up when the bearing spins.

Well, that depends on the amount of scoring. If it isn't too deep, you can polish the journals and upsize your bearings to compensate. Scoring in the bearing seat area is less of an issue. Had a small block spin the rear main and the local shop is going to polish the crank and build up and cut down the bearing seat back to original specs.

Anybody still going to the track next wednesday?

When you pull the crank, check you bearing seats for scoring as well, if you think you spun them. The seat will possibly need to be repaired before reinstalling bearings and crank.


So, we going to the track next wednesday the 12th, right? I'll be there.
