No flame here, dont know bout ottp heavy supporters in this thread (might get some from them). Its not exactly a custom tune for me its a can, plus ive modded beyond wut i originally stated to them, so i was expecting some good things but nothing great seeing as how im half a car behind brad and about 1-2 and pulling (he is not me) behind chriss shows its something tho...i just needs some tweakage. jason knows his **** ill admit that, kick ass cars guys

 

just have jason look at it. if u got the money get a dyno tune tps did a good job on my tune, u saw how my car idled with 60s like stock

 

yes i did but thats because tony got a horrible start... his car is so loud he could not hear my horn... lol

He did but thats because i heard honk 3 on the freeway with my window barely cracked. There was some confusion. A car was on my ass and brad was on my right then he moved 2 my left when the ass behind me got the hint and moved around...then i didnt have my window down and my exhaust is way 2 loud (drowns out horn with window up) so i got 1 beep and blower whine with a 5 car distance. lol

or even better lets do a side by side compare run me in 2.8 and then ill swap real quick and then run me with 2.6 see if it improves with exisiting tune at all, i think i might get slippage but wtf worth a try

 

sounds good i guess i would be carefully going straight to a 2.6 though ... and remember you prob will have to machine the snout down with a 2.6 lol

yeah i think i might, the larger pulley with some grinding seems like a much nicer option, the 2.7 works and fits good on brads shouldnt be much dif with mine and the 2.6 should be the same but ill see.

plus im crtain 2.5 or smaller needs machining of snout so ill find out bout the fitment, 2.5 seems like a lil much ne way 2, over spinning that sucker aint good i know.
But ifit slips a bit ill swap to the 2.7 and order a larger tension pulley in the mean time, no big. I think ill prob just run 2.8 for DD and 2.6 for track.

U prob got plans and reservs already but the argonaut hotel near the piers is a sick hotel. Right near ghiradelli square 2. They have a bar/rest. that serves some goooooood chowda 2. yum

Oh and a quick question....are there a lot of drivers here that think they know how to race and don't? I raced an eclipse (I think it was non-turbo) on 99 headed up to sac from a 60 roll and after like 3 seconds he couldn't even get up to my rear bumper....

so question for everyone i want your opinion... my car is my only daily driver so i dont want to push it too hard especialy since its a stock motor but of course i want to go fast. i dont plan on building a motor so i wanted your guys opinion on what would be better to go with

turbo kit
tvs
or twin charge

now dont jump to say twin charge because i know thats where the most power is at duh ... but i found out that the twin charge kit is very hard on the motor and if pushed a little bit too much with a stock motor ... kaaboom I have also heard from a respected tuner that pushing the tvs with e85 can still get me around 350 whp and be way more safe on a stock motor than a very mild tune twin charged. and then there is the turbo option... what do you guys think ? remember reliability and power is what im looking for not just power. all input appreciated thanks guys
