That drifting show was sick overthere. I wish i could get some photos of my car with them bikini girls haha! Gj jason again! I didnt say when i got eliminated cause i had rolled with couple friends of mines. I am also happy i got 13.94 on one of my runs. Hecka fun tho!

I guess, i suck at launching so should be an easy win for you. More of a roll guy as most fwd's are.

 

Both my cars are fwd and I love doing digs. From a roll I'm obviously going to get smoked though.

 

I really don't feel like going into the details of all the problems I've had with these guys, but it has been an amazingly unpleasant experience over several visits for service. If you really want me to list everything, I might do it when I have time. For now let me just say that they suck and any place is probably better than they are for service. If you don't believe me check yelp and see what other customers have said. On yelp you can't give less than one star, or up to 5 stars, Boardwalk has a 2.5 rating. So considering the rating has to be 1-5 (or you could say 0-4 and they would have a 1.5 rating) I'd say that a lot of customers agree with me. They are terrible! One of the two Chevy service writers is an idiot. That's the one I got this last time I took the Cobalt in, and what prompted me to write this information as a service to the Northern CA Cobalt owners.

Go there if you feel lucky, not every person who has taken a car there has had a bad experience. But you have to ask yourself one question, Do you feel lucky, well do ya, punk? Sorry couldn't resist the Clint Eastwood quote, but you get my point.

Abel Chevrolet has set the date for our 3rd Annual All GM Car Show and BBQ.

It will be held Sat May 21st 2011 at Abel Chevrolet in Rio Vista from 10:00AM-3:00PM

Last year we had over 200 cars, 175 of which were Corvettes. This year we hope to have even more so help us reach our goal of 250 cars and trucks.

The show is open to all years and models of GM vehicles from the new 2011 ZR1's back to the hot rods of the 1950/1960's.

We will be giving out trophies for all classes of Corvette, Hot rods and customs cars. The Rotary Club of Rio Vista will be cooking food, Discovery Bay Corvette Club will be hosting a raffle with many cool prizes and the local radio station will be here to play music.


We appreciate all your business and thank you for the continued support of not only me, but the dealership as well. Our forum business has grown because of all our loyal customers over the last few years. We have the pleasure of servicing cars for the majority of Nor Cal's Corvette community as well as selling parts on multiple forums so we would like to see all of you in one place, displaying your pride and joy. So come on down, hang out with other car lovers and enjoy some food and drink.

There is an online registration that I ask you to fill out very quickly. It is very similar to last years registration, but this year it will email you a confirmation and allow you to print out a sheet. This will give you something to put on your dash describing your mods and any other info you want others to know about your car. It will also allow us to get an estimate on how much food the Rotary Club will need to prepare.

Feel free to call, email or PM me with any questions. If you know someone with a Corvette that is not on the forum, let them know and get 'em signed up. I really want to see over 250 cars here this year.


It would be great to see NorCal-LSX represent and show up with a handfull of cars. if you guys all come together, I will do my best to park you near eachother.

Yea, was pretty cool, I red lit in the brackets so I was pissed off and went to watch the drifting for a min then went home. Anyone going to Infineon this Wednesday, a few of my friends and I are going.
