Extreme Contact DW's
Just got new winter tires for the Z06. Luckily for me Continental makes the Extreme Contact DW's in 285 and 295 sizes so I can put them on the Z06. I am not affiliated with Continental in any way so my opinion on these tires is just that, my opinion. And, my opinion is these tires rock !!!! They are reasonably cheap, have a 300 treadwear, and grip good in the wet and dry. They're even pretty quiet on the road too. I had them on my Cobalt and loved them. You can look them up on Tire Rack's comparisons and see how well they do against other top tires.
Its just a suggestion, but instead of spending your money on downpipes, tunes, etc while looking for more speed, get a good set of tires. You will be surprised and how much better you can accelerate, turn, and stop.
I think they are only about $150 a tire in Cobalt sizes. Even in Z06 sizes they are only $250 a tire.
Get some good tires and then go out and kick some ass.

my car is tempermental. i went to sac on saturday to go hang out with a car club i might be joining. on the way there in 5th gear it felt like the car was spinning the tires but showed signed of slippage. did that all night, yesterday i went off base to do some test pulls and 2-4 gears pulls hella good with no slip, so i tried 5th gear at 50 mph and went WOT and it didnt do it again....WTF???

i wish it was the plus side of it is its a 1.5L sc
the tvs is 1.3
the M62 is 1.0
with it been larger than the tvs i would hope it would make more boost..
we will see soon how well it works.
i know its not as efficient as the tvs so it will create a lot of heat like the M62.
Im on e85 and nos so Im more or less lookin fo more boost pressure...i hope the m90 will do it

2.8 Pulley Gen 3 I was at 10-12psi I believe.
It was at 10 psi on this scan, looks like it hit 12 psi right after this.
This was also with heads/cam and a big intercooler.
