New 190 rwhp commuter vehicle / toy
I know it doesn't seem like much power, but its in a 435lb motorcycle. New to me, 2012 BMW S1000. My old R1 had approximately 140 rwhp, so the S1000 has about 50 more ponies at the wheel. Top speed is now 185 instead of approximately 170. Acceleration is better, plus it has: ABS, traction control, selectable power modes, heated grips, quick shifter, factory alarm, self cancelling turn signals, wheelie and stoppie control in the traction control choices, and probably a bunch of other stuff I'm forgetting right now.
Since I did several runs at the drag strip with the R1 at 10.2 / 137-139, the S1000 should do high 9's or 10 flat at close to 150. That is some pretty good acceleration.
I've only had it a few days so I'll have to report back after I get used to it.
