There is also an informal meet every Saturday morning at the Winchester Theaters parking lot in San Jose from approximately 1000-1200ish(near Santana Row and right next to the Winchester Mystery House).

Lots of options to meet up and see a bunch of bad ass cars, not just Cobalts.

found out that my head in the shop is bad, 13 bent valves and needs new valve guides. $700 total for machine work and new valves...eff that. stock head is going back on

 

Hmm looks like that would be awesome to ride out to and I might roll with the vette crew at san ramon that morning.
I hope they run through caleveras too!!!

How the hell did ur engine builder not catch that? Well he never laped the valves or even fluid test it. Wow u have to be a total retard not to know to do that.
Did he plasti guage ur ur bearings? If not i would be pullin that engine back out.

 

nooooo, the head with the 13 bent valves came from a guy in florida, i bought it off him. my builder took the head to a machine shop for me and had them check it. thats how i know about the valves. but the bends were because of some misaligned valve guides

 

Was that the head that he put on ur new engine.

 

no, never got that far. it came in the mail and went straight to the machine shop

 

Then y dosnt ur car run??

 

cause im having the original head cleaned up and new lifters installed
