For people to get a hold of when they have a question(for the newbs, sponsors, charity, not memebers already)

i doubt were going to get big enough for it to be broken down like that to where we have someone from each area..and we do need a single point of contact for **** so things arent being filtered by everyone and then info gets lost in transit i think

I think we will eventually, just at the moment no. I still think a single contact will be the best.

 

people that want to do this need to have enough free time to do this....

 

thats why i offered to be pres since my motorcycle accident and my sons thing i really dont have a job lol (navy) but i do nothing for casol and the few other regs all day on here they see me all day posting haha now i feel like a bum.

tres:Casol for sure because he's the most finacially stable to where he wont get itchy fingers for the money seeings how he'll have a shop.

council:anyone like to step up for council? i say people in different locations..

and also something we need to think about is a recuriter for someone to handle the new booties and letting them know who we are and what we represent and get them ready to become members

 

well i'm definately not gonna be the recruiter! i'm allready in that business till july and i hate it. as far as me being vice pres, i'm gonna have to turn down that idea. i work too many hours and would not be able to properly represent us. plus you want someone in there who will be long term.

i agree with this. But we need nominees and the position and if they(canidate) want to follow thru with this, then we can have a poll election for the positions

well i think we need a pres, vice pres, activities director, treasurer, and various council members, and when something comes up to decide on, we all vote, and each vote is equal to another vote (ie. pres wont have more say over vice pres...)

I think we should have 9 council members so we always get a "majority rules vote"

no offense to doc but i dont think he would want(for now)/should be on until he comes back..hes gonnabe a busy man and is a honoary memeber and if we go with nine maybe save his spot for a tenth when he comes back because he is very much a big part of it but cant be for duty station reasons and for council we have to look at whos leaving like jimbo said...it does need to be long term so if anyone else wants to we can look at who to plug in also..

its nice to be forgotten about, a council is a good idea I don't think there should be pres or vice pres or whatever. Maybe a couple of POC (points of contact) for sponsors/vendors and charities. This is my opinion

 

I agree with stryder, I think a council would work, and a treasurer would definately be needed for the dues and any money involved but for sponsorships/charities there could be 1 or 2 point of contacts.

President and vice president still emplies power positions, and I know none of us think we can take advantage of it, but weve all seen people change with a title.

 

i will personally keeps these guys in check. We dont need to be ass's about anything, we are all good friends and no reason to lose that over a position. We can always remove the ass from the position if need be

 

plus what really are they incharge of? only thing i am worried about is the money man but not if paul runs it

the only reason that i say this is because i dont think we really need to worry about titles and such as much as having people to get info out and new members in.
