no kidding I was trying really hard, and the best I could do was 9.6 gotta get those 60ft times down that would certianly help

I sleep at the light sometimes, my foot kept slipping off the clutch before the light went green

jackalope on this sight has and idea to help with the traction issues, he puts load on the engine mount pushing it it forward a bit, and its suppose to help, i'm gonna try it when i get everything done to the car

ok here is the thread where he talks about it:https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/show...=load+traction

sounds to me it would be easy to do if you had the ingalls tq damper mounts
edit ignore the traction bars portion of the thread and read what jackalope has to say

i wasn't talking about the traction bars, but about putting a load on the upper engine mount to push it forward a bit. edited previous post for clarity, going to sears right now maybe i'll get the parts and do a how to

the engine mounts are on the long ends of the motor....driver and passenger sides
the transmission mounts are front and back...

BWoody sells mounts for the transmission and the passenger side motor mount...someone sold a poly mount for the driver side mount, but I think they aren't selling anymore.

Honestly, the control arm is suspect....but with a motor mount and a set of poly transmission mounts the wheel hop goes down considerably.
You can also add a poly control arm bushing but I'm not exacty sure what would putting a load on the motor will help. The time attack car had solid mounts and they rotated the motor a little.

thats all i'm talking about is preloading the motor or tilting it a bit, i'll show you pics tomorrow of what i'm talking about.and once the new motors in i'll even test and r&d them. basicly in theory what it should do if force everything down a bit, and all the weight should stay on the front wheels during launch instaed of transfering to the rear. so it should hook real good.

well I got my new downpipe on, and the flexpipe whistles like franks old one. But I can deal with that until i grab a different one from some place. After installing that noticed a bit of a difference, ok a huge difference matt didn't pull on me anymore and if he did it wasn't much. so what time are we meeting tomarrow I am assuming same time same place.
