SCRLA Formal (Mandatory) Meeting: Kart Day - end of Jan.
I posted this over here for the Socal Slobalts (andy405 and MikeSS) and any other SS/SC's that want to go, this is your cordial invitation. Also, for Rock, cuase his comp at work pwnd him from the RLF...lol
So im making a poll for the last two weekends of January.
Saturday the 20th.
or...
Saturday the 27th.
I plan on seeing if we can rent the track for the day. Itll be about $50-80 per person depending on the amount of races we want to have. We also need a minimum of 8 people to rent the track...otherwise itll be free race $20 per race. Ill be starting a list of people that are planning on coming out.
Everyone is welcome (wife/gf, kids, friends), everyone can race it is the same $$ per person.
we can schedual the event anytime between 10am and 11pm
So far it looks like the 27th is the day...
The list (anoyone backing out?):
1. Me (anyday) +2
2. Dettlej (27th only)
3. Dub (anyday) +1
4. <this person backed out>
5. BlurryRL (anyday)
6. Smokem10 (attending but not racing)
7. 94firebird?
8. charg 'DBaltSS (?) +1

this sounds like a lot of fun... i work on a lot of saturdays but im pretty sure that i would be able to make it out either saturday w/ a buddy of mine... i will know for sure when it gets closer to that date

charged SS-things seem to be leaning towards the 27th. So, Lemme get the SCRLA people, over on RLF.com to pony up their side of the deposit. Then ill let you know how much youll need to send.

ok. i have set the date on the 27th. We are informally put down for after 6PM...which means we can race anytime between 6pm and 9pm (they close at 11pm).
For the 2 race "Mini Grand Prix" group race its a $50 deposit.
For the 3 race "Grand Prix" group race its a $80 deposit.
I already put down a $50 deposit. We need to have the whole deposit at LEAST 48 hours before the event.
So...everyone that is tentatively going you must send your $10 deposit (include $10 per guest) to me, PM me for details. Once we get there they will take $10 off each of your entry fees.

:bump: there are only 2 weeks until the meet, and I still havent gotten a deposit from anyone that is on the list. If you all are serious about going, let me know, ive already put down $50 on that day. we can race at anytime during the day.

^yea, thats fine...but unless i can get more of the SCRLA guys to go then its kinda pointless to rent a track when we dont have the minimum amount of people required to rent the track. So...im going to be there, if anyone wants to go, then show up.
As it stands right now, I need to get an exact head count on whos going right now, because if I can still get 8 people to go, then we can still rent the track.
So, please let me know if you are 120% sure that you are going, and how many people you plan on bringing to race.

OK...date is set. The meet is going to be on the 27th between 7-8pm, everyone should get there at 6, to take care of registration and to ensure that all the laggers (me), and people that are working (greg, and superbimmer) get to race.
