So i took the saab in to school yesterday to change some setting on it that i dont like...like the driver door lock doesnt pop open when i go into park...but all the other doors do...WTF!!! and i wanted to switch the DRL off...but the only way to do this is with a Tech 2....we have about 20 tech 2's at school along with 2 CANdi mondules to communicate with the CAN bus...well none of the tech 2's worked for the saab...i can change the settings on the cobalt...but the saab is just not in the software...so im a bit pissed...its those lil things that bother me....lol

cole...you know im all about performance first then looks....

well coilovers are for handling performance...so i would get that too if i could afford it...u know

hey cole if you need a harness bar made...my boy and i can make you one...the only problem would be that we need to have your car here for a few hours......

If you read up on the threads on here there are a lot of complaints about it quality and performance. Steve had it and sold it not too long ago ask him.

A modded stock airbox and so far this is probably the best thing right now,

That sounds more like an electrical issue than a software issue with the body computer. There should only be a setting to lock/unlock the driver's door or the all doors, not every door but the driver's. If you haven't done so you might check out the owner's manual as I thought on the 9-3 you can change those settings yourself via the SID.

Also on the Tech2, while Saab does use them, you'll need the Saab-specific card to set up the advanced owner's preferences. Otherwise you'll be limited to basic OBD-II stuff like codes and data streams. If you'll have access to the Tech2 for a long time and they don't have the Saab card you can usually find them on eBay pretty cheap.
