with the bump stops in it still rubs, cause mine rubbed without the bump stops, but when they were in it never rubbed once no matter how many people or weight inside.
did you cut yours or something? also you could do the drag bag mod for $18 and it wont rub, thats what i did cause i cut my bump stops

ohhh, 245's ouch. those are heavier as well... when i was looking they were like 1.5lbs heavier than the 235's thats why i didnt get em.
well the football mod is still an option... its not hard like a bump stop either it just feels like it got stiffer all of a sudden,
heres a pic. what i did was inflated them then just let the air go to 0psi or neutral then they just act like bag stops instead of bump... then when your at the track put 20+ psi in em and thats how zzp gets those amazing 60ft times.
those are 9.87 @ walmart peewee size is perfect.

I need to put something in my sig about my wheels and springs, I no joke get about 2 pm's asking either, what springs are you lowered on? How do you like them? Where did you get them? Are your wheels painted? How did you do it? Are they powdercoated? How much? And they ALWAYS start out with, yo dude or hey man.

What exact tire size are you running and is it running on the inside out outside edge of the tire? I'm running some of the 235/40-18 Z1 Star Specs on my stock wheels but when I was thinking of getting new wheels was looking at 245/35-18s. Seems a few people with aftermarket wheels and suspension are running 245/40 in that size but the 245/35 are a lot closer in overall diameter to the stock tires.

Since the sidewall aspect ratio or "series" is just a percentage of tread width, with the wider 245/35 tire you end up with a sidewall that's essentially the same diameter as the stock 225/40 tires. That's already on the somewhat thin side but other factors like the particular tire's sidewall design can also have a big impact on ride harshness. I don't care so much about appearance as I do about performance/handling, and it looks like there's a much better chance of fitting a 245/35-18 under the car with the proper offset than the much taller 245/40-18.

That was the other tire and size that I was considering trying out. I'll have to compare some specs to the Dunlops and some other similar class tires. I haven't had any rubbing issues but then again I'm at stock ride height. The only problem with that size is that they're too wide for the stock wheels and really need a minimum 8" width wheel. The grip is great but I have noticed a touch more torque steer which can sometimes be expected when there's too much sidewall deflection.
