i hav no idea but imma get it checked out this weekend...pre owner didnt know what was wrong with it but he said maybe a detonation problem or a tuning issue...but it could be really simple...maybe a boost leak but i dont think that would decrease your mph....actually i know it wouldnt but im hoping it has nothing to do with the pistons cuz it could be at a high compression and jus be eatin them up...maybe the air gas ratio...theres numbers of things it could be

i dont know the whole story of whats happening though.

usually a leakdown can tell you internally what is happening if anything at all.

cavi boy are you getting any fluttering sounds say from the BOV or WGA by chance?

no boost control and it does the fluttering when it hesitates so when you push on the gas...not punching jus when you push on it regular

my thoughts behind the vacuum line.... I dunno how the turbo system works, but that would be like the LSJ's boost bypass valve snapping shut at 80mph. 10lbs of boost instantly.

possibly, while cruising i would imagine your still maintaining a small amount of boost and if your WGA isnt holding the pressure then it will open and your car might decrease from the loss of boost pressure, which might explain the flapping noise sometimes...
