Fernando, i'm really sorry we couldn't scan yours. I'm still trying to figure out what the hell is up with my hpt. It doesn't even read my car, and i've pulled the tune and modified it dozens of times. Not to mention the last time i used it was on marisa's car. But then again, andrews **** got messed up when he was tuning marisa...

going between 32bit cars and 16bit cars (07+ and 04-06 respectively) seems to really trip up the HPT software. the needed software to rite to each one has to be different, i think, and swapping between the two seems to confuse the brain box in the cable.
best solution i've found(only works with "pro" cables) is to use its stand alone data logger to help force the change. i'm sure the same effect can be had useing a std cable and a laptop.
just keep trying to initialize a data log, it might only take one try, it might take 10. For me, the lucky number seems to be 3 trys. Don't worry if its more or less.
i also see this hickup happen going between 04's and every thing else.

Checked the cig fuse to make sure that wasn't it. Checked to make sure my drivers on my netbook were still intact, and they were.
I cleared all the previous data entries, including my buddies 60 trim Trans Am (you'd get a kick out of that car) and still no go.
I'll look into initializing a data log, but it simply doesn't want to see the PCM. Keeps claiming i need to put the key to the Run position. Grr...
