ya red and black look good but since your having red accents darker red would look better and more subtle

hey.. i have a 2007 ss/sc with a GMPP touring exhaust and header... everytime i drive the car it seems that this residue that looks a lot like dust except its more flaky and shiny gets on the rear of the car from the bottom of the bumper to the top of the trunk... does anyone know what this is and possibly a solution to it?

You killed your cat haha. Thatd be the only thing I could think of as long as everything sounds good under the hood. When mine went out it started out as a small exhaust leak then one day started it up and bamm open header. Its cover if it is your cat though

Damn dude, you must not be shifting right. I honestly don't know how you drive, but for it to break a 3rd time, its kind of rules out GM. They make that same piece for every car. It's not like you just happened to get 3 defective ones.

At some point you have to step back and think, maybe you're not doing something right?

well i dont remember if this happened to me on my sunfire or my cobalt but every so often when im sitting at a light ill go to shift from neutral to first and the shifter just wont go... the solution to the problem that i use is to upshift to second then back to first all the while having the clutch pushed in... i dont know if ur having this problem will and ur just shoving it into first... but maybe thats it?
idk much about trannies n stuff but im just trying to speculate and help

Brandon I doubt its your muffler unless its defective but defective parts should show up sooner than that. Will it could still be a whole nother issue in the shift linkage or whatever. They're probably just replacing that piece and not trying to see if there is another problem somewhere else that may be causing it.
