Steve - I think you're filling at the wrong place!

I last filled up @ $0.975/L ~ which works out to about $3.69/G

Rissa - from your last comment (this is of course presuming there was any seriousness in the comment) do you mean you have a local station that sells 100(+/-) octane at the pump?

In the 'state' to the west of us, there are some stations that you can get 100 octane at - but those stations are few & far between;
There's only two way we can get 100+ octane around here:
1) VP Race Fuel
2) Av Gas

I am not sure about option #1, but I know for a fact that my option #2 is a leaded gas that would screw with these Cobalts ~ but on the flip side, my '70 purrs like a kitten on the stuff...

Yeah there's a station by my house that sells unleaded 100 octane, it's $8.07 a gallon, cost me $75 to fill up lol.

I wish I had that option...

When my '70 gets back on the road I'll probably be buying VP in bulk, then constantly running a VP/Premium blend simply because of how much smoother it runs on "real" gas...
My source who used to be able to get me Aviation gas, can no longer get it (he used to service old gas powered aircraft - when ever the engines were being serviced the gas needed to be drained - gas which never went back into the planes).
