I have a program that I got with a scanner installed on my desktop that is awesome - and isn't complex, I can simply lighten up the whole picture to alomst make it look like the shot was taken during a sunny part of the day...
I also have some picture editor on my work desktop that does this... not as good as the other program, but it works...
