@andrew, they dont make 4.56 for my diff, but thats a bit too much gear for my DD. Then again, my 6th gear is tall as hell. Even with 4.10s, ill only be at 2500rpm @ 80mph

I met this fellow marine at the dealership today(which was the best service I ever recieved) anyway he had just bought this 06 SS/SC stock and was there to pick up his GM Stage 2. I needed to know if he could install it himself cuz the dealer wanted 500 just to install. I invited him to the meet tomorow and he said he couldnt go cuz he has to work but he will be at the next 1. Also directed him here. Now onto my service trip. Got the power steering recall done, headlight replaced, ambient air temperature sensor replaced, and had the parts ordered for the turbo recall along with the loud ticking. All this WITH NO QUESTIONS ASKED. First time ive ever been satisifed at a dealer. Lets see what else I can milk this for.

Thats what I needed help with, to see if Stage 2 can be consumer installed.

it can be, just has to be flashed by the dealer.

If he wants it covered under warranty, it'd be best to let the dealer install it.

 

He said it can be installed, but a shop has to press it on

 

u dont need ho chap to install it ^_^
just the right tools
