Aww well you can always turbo the LS if you want.
Check this out... I found about 10 C5 Z06s on Ebay for the same price. Just something to think about. The corvette stock will pull over 1.02g on the skidpad by the way and the later C5 Z06 has like 370 hp at the wheels. Plus the sound of a V-8 is SWEET!

Ahh 10-4... Yea the look of the vette is a love it or hate it kind of thing. The ass end looks ten feet tall and its wide and long. I personally love it. My old man has one (a 02 convertible auto) which is okay. Its heavy cuz its a rag top and its an auto. I like the newer Z06s so the next car for me will be a toss up between a C6 Z06 or a Z-28. The Z is a very respectable car. Its light, has good power, excellent handling, and good fuel economy for a sports car. I am not a fan boy of any particular brand, but I am a sucker for the rumble of a V-8. Too bad nissan doesn't put the titan V-8 in the Z... HMMM I smell an engine swap!

Yea thats what I saw when I searched the net for black badging. I think I'm just gonna get off my ass and take mine off soon anyways. They are just taped on right, not riveted? My buddy's ranger had rivet stuff on it back in the day.

I think I'm gonna take the front bow tie off and spray it black with that stuff you spray tail lights with. I am going to get that stuff when I get home, I want smoked tails soooo bad... Maybe I should have got a black balt, I love the stealth look.

Yep true and also tint. I don't have a front plate and I have 5% tint everwhere but the windshield. I'm not too concerned really. I'm not putting holes in my front bumper for a damn license plate.

yeah, dont get me wrong i still like the way the vettes look, i guess its just me rooting for the underdog that pushes me towards the Z plus you are right on the whole fuel economy thing...i mean face it a v-8 is always gonna consume more fuel than a v-6 and getting close to 30mpg in a sports car is a pretty good tradeoff when it comes to the 370Z...i know the EPA doesnt rate them at that, but theres a whole thread on the 370z forums about MPG and seems most people on there get about 27 to 30mpg highway. Not sure how well the titans v-8 would fit in the Z's chassis though it would be pretty awesome seeing as they already use it in the infiniti M.

Yea I hear the fuel economy thing. In this day and age where fuel is approaching $4 a gallon in California its pretty important to consider. HP vs. fuel economy didn't matter in the 90s as much or in the 60s at all. That is the reason why I like the Corvette too. My dad's (with an automatic) gets 26-28 mpg driven at a good highway speed of say 80-100mph. On a trip to Havasu (spelling) he and I took, we did 100 most of the way, messed with an SRT-4 up to 150 in Palm Springs, and still got 25 mpg. Pretty impressive for a V-8. I was expecting to see 20 at the very most. But, that thing made me a believer, that you could have 350whp (intake and exhaust mods) and still get good fuel economy. Does the 370 reccomend primo fuel as well or does it run on 87 octane? I'm not sure and too lazy to look it up now.
