Nearly all of them have been paid off for years and I like playing around with them. Most aren't worth a whole lot either, so its not like I've got a garage full of Hemi Cudas and big block Camaros. Also a few of my cars I've had since back when I was in high school in the mid '90s. Unfortunately with my work the last couple years I don't have as much time to wrench and play around as much as I'd like.

Hmm... that's a good question. Because I can?

also, your running those numbers threw a auto tranny so there gonne be generally a 17-19% drivetrain loss (approx) i dont think they are that bad for an auto! but im sure your making more...

i didnt really search on here, but i know for a fact i saw somewhere that you have to get it to go in what ever gear you want, then you pull the tcm/trans fuse or vss i cant remember and it locks it in that gear... (its worth trying both)

hmm so then a cobalt is a cobalt so that would equal to you having at least 225ish whp and 230ish wtrq... granted your an auto and dont have to shift gears so you might need a little less hp and trq to keep up with a new t/c.
what did the srt-4's dyno @? what was the highest hp car that dyno'd? wish i could of made it...

o i know im making more than what the sheet says....if i can stay ahead of an ss/tc in stock form (cuz we all know full bolt ons dont do anything for them until they are tuned)...im def sure that this was a second gear pull...ill look that thread up and see if i can hit them up some other time as they are fairly close to me...didnt take more than 20mins to get there
Automatics suck out a large amount of power compared to a manual car. What you have to look at is your torque curve which is reasonably healthy and pretty flat. Go over all the little things that are robbing a horsepower here and there and you should be able to get those number up even higher. While your automatic may sap power in the upper gears, the torque converter is also heavily multiplying torque in the lower gears. That's probably why in the first couple gears it feels like it's pulling a lot harder than the numbers appear.
What would really help give you an idea how the car is running would be to get some quarter-mile track numbers to compare it to. Looking at your trap speeds at the 330', 660', 1/8, and 1/4-mile marks would be a good way to back up the dyno numbers and see how you car is making power.
Looking at the results thread on the srt site, I'm pretty sure the highest was a 472/462 and 532/546 on the bottle. He mentioned they were only able to take it up to 5500 rpm so it would have had more in it. That should have been one of the white cars (not heavily modified on appearance stuff). I think a few others were over 300 and some of the lightly modified cars were in the mid to upper 200's.
