thats the thing though, a lot of people are here on-line, but that doesnt mean **** when it comes down to the meets(not pickin on you i know you wish you could be there)... theres only a few of us that are always down, and actually come out. we need to get it more structured like it was before(ie-3rd sunday of every month, fairly neutral to everyone, bbq or eat somewhere, then badass cruise and pics, and eat again if you want)

thats exactly what im saying...i wish i could be there...but we serioulsy do need some kind of structure...it just seems like most of the O.G.'s are no longer here...if anything its just you and andrew, paul and well its only like a handful ...and well i started kickin at the end of 07 so ive been around for a bit too but not too long....i really wish i could make it out to the meets but this car just keeps giving me issues...but it looks like im almost done with it...hopefully by the end of next month if not the beginning of feb...im really low on cash right now...yes i know 3rd sunday of each month was pretty neutral...but we do seriously need some kind of structure...like an events planner and some kind of leader...if its just a bunch of individuals...stuff really never works out...needs to be something planned out correctly....like right now there are a bunch of ideas getting thrown about for this next months meet but there is nothing solid....i would love to help plan but im not sure if i would be any help right now..until i actually get my car back on the road...i hope u all understand what im saying

Im always(used to be) throwing out ideas and was always getting shot down or ignored, so i stopped. Then we started falling apart, then people started to change there ways and complain alot. So I stepped away and it went down hill from there.
Glad to see some people stuck it out and now trying to get it back going again. Let me know if there is any way I can help out.

i know...i tried throwing ideas out as well....i mentioned earlier to rootbeer..that we should do some kind of fundraiser to raise money for this club....something like a carwash or something...and we can use the money for buying stuff like custom shirts and stuff like that...decals or what not....this way we dont have to use our personal money for bbq's or whatever we plan...you get what im saying right

Yeah i understand, thats why we were doing the 10/mo member fee and it would pay for eveything in advance.
We are going to have to restructure and renominate/revote people, since some of the peps in charge are no longer available

got this today, not sure what to do with it
This is to inform you that the database server name used to
connect to database sce_members has been changed from:

p50mysql53.secureserver.net

to

sce_members.db.3648477.hostedresource.com

You will see the new database name in the Hosting Control
Center and database administration tools. This change has
no immediate affect on your site.

To update your site code, modify the database connection
string to reflect the new database server name. This can be
done at any time, as the old database server name is still in
operation. Updating as soon as possible, however, ensures future
connectivity should your database be moved to a new server for
hosting account changes or infrastructure improvements.

Databases set up with DSNs have been updated automatically.
No action is required on your part to update site code that
uses DSNs.

Lets get it back on the ball man. There are still some old members around. Just lurking....or have bigger and better cars. it doesnt matter. if we get cards or flyers, it is not hard at all to put them in the window of a nice 4 banger or something to have them join. bigger the meets the better (most of the time)

btw the socalecotec website wont let me register. haha.

Ill make up a flyer and we cant print them?????
