Unhappy soooo sad leaking gas

So today while changing my oil I discovered that my car is leaking gas. Its a considerable amount being that it was only on long enough to drive on my ramps. From what i could tel its toward the back but i have no clue if its the lines going to the tank or the tank itself. I'm past warranty so I need to find a local shop that does good work at a reasonable price.

** So I got the balt back yesterday. They said the shrink fitting on the fuel pump was cracked so they replaced the whole fuel pump. supposedly they weren't supposed to cover it under warranty but they did. Glad to have the car back and not think my cars gonna blow up just from starting it up. I've found a thread on here of someone else that had this problem but they fixed it themselves. So if anyone is leaking fuel like me from around the tank and you're close to 50k mileage try talking to the dealer and see if they'll replace it cause they said it shouldn't have cracked.

No exes crazy enough to do that haha. its at the dealer right now and theyre trying to say ive hit something which is impossible since my car has never been in any sort of accident and the leak is on top of the tank

the dealer is silly with what they come up with sometimes haha
when my reverse light switch thingy went out i looked on here for an answer and they said its like a switch that engages the back up lights
i told the dealer what was wrong
and they took their sweet ass time and i asked later and he was all like yea it was broken hahaha
i waited there all day cuz i didnt want to pay for a bullshit rental
******* mechanic on lunch all day it seemed haha

I had this problem a few weeks ago.

The lines coming out of my tank had cracked and were leaking.

theyre gonna cover it. the guy from the dealer said it honestly looked like someone had messed with it but he talked his manager into covering it under warranty. i guess it pays to recognize the guy from going to the same gym as me haha. soo that means ive had pretty good service at mark chris and rotolo chevy
