suspension dyno
#2
Huh, what exactly are you looking for, because there actually is shock/strut dynamometers for testing suspension component valving and control. If you're looking for a dyno to measure engine power and are talking about a chassis dyno there's a lot of shops in SoCal depending on what type of dyno you're looking for (Dynotjet/inertia style, Mustang/eddy-current style, etc.).

What exactly are you looking for and what do you want to verify? Would you understand the results? Would you be able to directly compare them to other dampers (i.e. are you going to test other coil-overs on the same equipment)?
If you have an exact setup you're looking for and want to test a bunch of different struts/shocks to find one or a setting that works best it might be valuable. If you just want to test yours just to test them, it might not be very useful. If you're really interested there are a bunch of suspension companies in the SoCal area from Hotchkis, Tein, Bilstein, and I think one of the Koni rebuilders are still here. Try calling them and one will probably be able to assist you.
