Where to move
Hey folks,
Looking to move out west in 2012. I was wondering where I should be looking to live. I'm a DJ and am working on an audio production degree. I'm going for cheaper rent cuz I don't need much in terms of space. Just curious where the best place for an up-and-coming music guy is to live.

Everytime I see that bridge, I think of full house.

San Fransisco is SUPER expensive.
San Diego is probably second most, but there are lots of clubs and bars in downtown areas of both.
LA would be your best bet as far as being a DJ... but you better get used to running karaoke in dive bars for a while cuz the big clubs are packed with lineups already.
If you live in saaaayyyy southern Orange county or North San Diego county you are close enough to drive to either San Diego or Los Angeles for a big gig and you can find places for like $600/month for a 1 bedroom if you know where to look.
