For 06 and under Cobalts just wire them into your parking lights as those are your DRLs.

Use the coupon code: 3rdgen during check out for the $190 shipped price.
If you want to do an HID kit at the same time it would be an added $120 for any 4300k-12000k with 35w ballast. On top of that, we will hook the HIDs up for you so when you get them install is as easy as taking out your old headlights, putting in the new ones and more than likely putting the ballast under the new headlights

--->Link to H1 HID kit<--- Most people tend to go with the Plug and Play option, also as for the DRL/Warning Module, if you have an 07+ Cobalt and have not disabled your DRL's you would need them.
Use the coupon code: 3rdgenHID for the projector + HID combo price

Almost everyone now knows what these 3rd gen projectors look like now, but just for reference value

Also the main difference between our projectors and the ones you can get from other vendors or from eBay is when you get them from those guys, when you put HIDs in em, they look like this. That little half moon above the cut off line kind of defeats the purpose of getting aftermarket projectors.

When you get our projectors, they look like so

Both these pictures were taken with 10k HIDs. On top of that, when you buy the projectors with our HID kit, not only will we give you a discount on top of that, we make it completely plug and play for you so all you need to do is mount the ballast and put in your new headlights and you're good to go
A) the two colors between the two pics is not the same (10,000k), One is whiter then the other which is a lower K temp.. and B) you state about the little half moon ... but you have the LEDs on the bottom, not the top of the housing... Also, the halos on the kit I got from some one else are a dull light blue and not even visible till total darkness... that nice bright white halo and LED looks good, like on the newer Audis and BMW 1 and 3 series with the halos.........Plus I'm looking for max light output so I would want a 5000k kit as projectors reduce the light output by 10-15% no matter what the light source is...compared to reflector\refractor housings...
Maybe 6000k w\50w so it comes down to a 5000k in color and more light output... I live in a very dark part of the US in the Az desert and more light is important versus color....

Nice pics Sherm420 sent though.. The halos look like they'd be fairly visible in full daylight.. Good deal... Chrome housings for me and I'll be ready for them by the 12th of Mar for over night shipping

Is anyone buying them without the LEDs? I was wondering what they would look like without that option.

So far no one has wanted to spend the money for that option. i do have one guy in MA that has been talking about it along with color matching the headlight

Factory bulbs are 9007, the projectors we offer use H1 bulbs. So if you got them and still wanted HIDs in them you would need to buy a pair of H1 bulbs.

One more question.

I have an 06 coupe and are these just plug/play (with the mounting of Ballast of course) so that when I turn on my parking lights/my auto lights only have my p lamps on, the halos would come on? Or would I need to do something to correct that?

Thanks, time to start modding again, lol!

You would have to wire up the Halo's and LEDs if you wanted them to come on with your parking lights. Luckily, a quick run to the auto parts store to get a package of T-Taps would solve that. Just T-Tap into your parking light bulb (the small 168/194 bulb) that has 2 wires come out of it. Last time I checked it is actually a black and red wire. Black being ground, red being positive.
