Another question. Is there a price difference between the black housing and chrome housing headlights or are they both the same price at $210?

can you take a pic of the back side of the lights so i can see the adjustments and whatnot?

i once had the 1st gen's, but went back to the standard headlights. trying to see if they are any different.

Can you adjust them while in the car? or are they like the 1st gen's which require you to take them out, make the adjustment..put them back in

Yes you have to take them out adjust them and put them back in. I only have a picture of the low beam adjusters

See the two silver knobs, those are what you turn to adjust them and you can use an 8mm socket or nut driver to turn them. You have to turn them both the same way and amount of times to adjust them. Now I didn't need to adjust the high beams but there are three knobs for them and they are the same size.

Please be patient with me. I am a complete virgin when it comes to projectors and HID.

1. So I have to completely disable my daytime running lights AND auto headlight on?
2. How much light intensity is lost with the black projectors?
3. What is involved in changing a HID bulb?

I can help a little.

1. Looking by your sig, and from what I've read in this thread, you can either get a realy to help counter-act the DRLs or pull the fuse, everything will still work.

2. There shouldn't be any as the light projects outwards from the projectors, and very little of the [black or chrome] housing.

3. I believe just the type of bulb, but I could be wrong. I think these are H1.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong with these.

Thanks. I'm looking for wiring diagrams for this car, but I'm not willing to spend $130 yet. I have a great CD for my Fiero that I bought from a guy onEbay but he either went out of business or got locked up for copywright infringement. A relay would be no problem. I'm still trying to get out of the 60s. This car has knocked 50 years off my age. Can't wait to get it on the road course at Lime Rock, hopefully, in June.
Thanks gain and Happy trails.
