*** AGENCY POWER EXHAUST SALE ***

for CHEVY COBALT 08+ ONLY

Description:

Released for the new turbo charged Chevrolet Cobalt SS is this catback exhaust system from Agency Power to help create an incredible sound and power increase. The exhaust system is all T304 stainless steel featuring robotic TIG welds and a complete polished finish. The system connects to the factory catalytic converter with a thick flange and includes a resonator to reduce in cabin noise.

The muffler and mid pipe section fit together with a slip fit design for easy fitment. The exhaust fits with all the factory exhaust hanger mounts and features a straight through round canister design. The 4 inch exhaust tip is elongated to sit nicely out of the rear bumper exhaust opening.

This exhaust system was tested on our Mustang Dyno and achieved approximately 10 horsepower gain just bolting it on without a tune. With horsepower also came improved throttle response, and low end torque gains. This exhaust is designed to work with the 2008 and up Chevy Cobalt SS Coupe or Sedan.

Can you make a version of this for Ion Redlines?? It just needs to be a few inches longer in the rear section to clear the rear bumper

Not enough demand for this. If the modification is that minor you can make the purchase and do the modification locally.

Thank you.

Sure it would. Anyone with a good welding skills and a little bit of polish can make it look just fine. I could even provide you with the materials.

I thought the AP was only a 2.5" exhaust though? You have confirmed this is a 3" OP? Just curious I may be interested.

That is not the purpose of this exhaust. Making a 3" exhaust from Agency Power would mean a special order for something and it wouldn't make too much sense when I can get you other full 3" systems. The main purpose behind the 2.5" system is to offer a clean, tight under the chassis system, that is made with high-quality materials in the USA for a suburb price. Mainly a person on budget with an awesome product on their hands.

If you truly want a full 3" system, I'd be happy to get you a nice package going as I have everything in-stock but keep in mind. Bigger the piping = more money.

I only ask is because I'm running the 3" Turbo XS catless DP and it's running through the stock pipe to a Magnaflow muffler and the stock pipe I believe is 2.5". And I recently just started having drone problems that I've never dealt with before. So I'm interested just didn't know if there would be any restriction going through a 3" to a 2.5" exhaust

Drone is caused by reverberations in the exhaust system that don't make the exhaust flow even. A resonator is best is avoid this problem. On other notes, when ever you go from big to small, the exhaust system will follow the restriction of the smaller diameter piping versus the larger portion of it.

Thank you.

Factory catback is 3" to the rear beam where it drops to 2.5" if I am not mistaken.

I'll stick with my downpipe, and Dynomax bullet muffler delete.

Does agency make a 3 inch downpipe? Cause I would like to get a catless downpipe or downpipe with cat for my cobalt ss TC. I'd buy one if agency power makes one. I ask this cause you said at the beggening of this thread that u ship the catback with a catless downpipe or cat back with a downpipe and cat. What kind of downpipe are you sending? I have the catback already.
