I guess it depends on your needs. With a Torque Wrench, the longer the handle the easier it is to apply torque. That is why the lower the range, the shorter the wrench. When you compare ours (which is about 22" in length) to a more traditional "click style" 1/2" / 150 Ft.lb version like the KD Tools / Gearwrench product number: 85053 (which is 21.2" in length) they are really close. Ours adds a little length due to the batteries, but not enough that is should make a difference.

That's a good price on a torque wrench. Been thinking about replacing my old SK.

Shipping to Canada is more expensive for us to do, so unfortunately we can't offer this special. However, if you PM me with your Zip Code, I can let you know what the additional shipping cost would be.

can this wrench be re claibrated?

I would prefer to own a wrench that can be re calibrated every few years as I recently broke a lug off when the wrench was set to 100 ft lbs.

Yes. The wrench can be re-calibrated. We do that in Chicago. The nice thing about it is that it does not need to be turned down to the lowest setting after use (like a standard "click" style wrench). This is what usually causes wrenches to go out of calibration.
