You gaining timing due to the decrease in IAT's.
It takes a lot of any alcohol to make a small amount of HP in a road car.
WRT E85... from experience, I'll tell you that it is possible to have similar power.
When talking about alcohol based fuels, it's not about the tuning so much as the motor itself.
Hence why the last ethanol project I worked on was a diesel motor converted to E100, not a gasoline motor. (please no questions about this one... I hated that project).

I believe what zooomer is trying to get at is which is better lb for lb, n2o or meth.
without price being a factor*

Please wait for the full in depth article.
One misconception coveredd will be "water/meth" That is like saying does sex/divorce make you happy? Water and methanol or two entirely different things and shouldn't be connected as they are. Sadly, once a trend starts, it's hard to break. Just like sex and divorce, they can be related but that doesn't mean that using them together makes any sense. Similarly water and meth are unrelated except when made to be so.
Next covered will be alcohol. yes, a tuned setup running only alcohol (no gas, no water) will make more power all other things being equal.
Another covered topic "cooling" yes water cools but it also puts out fire and the explosion is what is making power. The guy who gained 18 HP only gained it because his car was not properly setup BEFORE adding the meth. I could take the meth off the car, increased the pulley size and made more power than any of the dynos.
But as above, please save this debate for after the article. I have many misconceptions to go after and I am only asking for help on showing what PSI the kits run at. It's free money for you and no, it won't be $1. I already have enough test info to know that it will be worth sending in the equipment. If it wasn't I would just give a cert anyway for helping.

The pump maintained the same pressure with 6 or 12 volts which is good news for progressive kit owners. The unit has an internal regulator that spikes to 135psi and drops to 120 before turning back on. http://www.zzperformance.com/miscftp/MVI_6795.AVI
