Pedders Coil Springs Sale

When you lower your car the whole knuckle, strut and wheel assembly move up into the wheel well. The outer tierod ends move up with everything else, this causes unwanted bump steer. The solution is to install these spacers that are cnc machined from 6061 aluminum, they work by raising the steering rack back up to the same height as the outer tierod ends.

They do help. The spacers are approx 10-12mm thick so just under half an inch. The Pedders springs lower the front just over 1 in so there is still some angle to the tie rods but it is only half the angle you would have without the spacers. That being said, I have no bump steer at all with the spacers.
Thanks.....

Ok I'm a little bit confused. I have an 09 SS and I just ordered the springs but not the rack spacers. Should I go back and buy the spacers too or will I be ok without them?

Not required but you will kick yourself for not getting them every time you hit a bump and your steering wheel jerks to one side LOL. Pedders springs are great BTW. I have Pedders, springs rack spacers and an OTTP rear antisway bar and my car is tight and still rides just like stock. Worn stock tires are my handling limiting factor right now.
