I've done this to my car, relatively simple, just don't short circuit anything, I killed my DIC by shorting it out. all my lights are now blue except red line empty fuel and hot for the hvac.
You'll be so happy if you change everything over to your own colour choice.
(I screwed up the radio controls, so thats why only 2 work. those are the only surface mount leds unless you do the radio too, GL to you if you want to do the radio too.)

Yeah I did mine too I put them red but I wanted to do them a bright white. I think itll look cool idk just wanna test it. How did you short circuit? It was my first time doimg that type of work so I didnt know what precautions to take. And I think as long as theyre 12v they should work but idk for sure
