They will get delivered, at least that's what happens normally unless your post office hires a lazy mailman. :P

did anyone install this boot with the momo handle?

Im not the happiest customer. fitment is no where like the picture for the perforated leather boot.

and a zip tie is not the idea thing to hold the boot to the handle. Looks like it needs to be cut to fit like in the pictures they give you.

im talking about the ebrake by the way.

if anybody can give me any advice I would greatly appreciate it.

John, I'm sorry to hear that - any chance you could PM me some pictures of what the problems are?

The boots for the MOMO handle were made exactly as LSJ_PUP's, which you can see in the pictures we've posted, so they should work just the same?

I just installed mine and used a zip tie to secure it to the MOMO handle. It looks just like one in the instructions. The key is using a very narrow zip tie that will sink into the groove of the MOMO handle. I think the zip tie is the way to go; better than an elastic. In fact, the original boot on my GTO was held on that way too. Turn the boot inside out and line the edge up with the end of the handle, that way when you pull it over the handle, the edge looks rolled into the groove.

alrighty I thought of that but I didnt have any at the time of install. But I will try that.. did you also go with the perforated leather? If so does it fit nice and smooth in the area provided? In the picture they give you it seems to look perfect.

Mine is all wrinkled up and it seems too long for the boot area underneath the plastic peice. If you have any pointers on that Id greatly appreciate it.

Thanks

I didn't get the perforated leather, just the normal style. I cut the stock handle as shown in the instructions which gives the boot some shape. By zip tying it as I described, you end up shortening that side of boot about 1-2cm. Then I pulled the leather boot down past the original plastic handle I cut which really straightened it out. There's some wrinkles, but it looks correct. I'll try to get some pics up.

I'm curious. Is the top of your shift boot attached to the lockout ring with a zip tie or elastic? Thanks.
