Finally got them!!! They look amazing!

These are crappy pictures (flash because of the dark, dirty interior and rubber winter mats FTL)

I only say that because the opposite side looks like the stitching goes all the way up to the top and around to the back.

Just checked mine its the same. Don't think you'll see it once installed though. Its the seam, probably couldn't stitch through it.

You have PM!

that is normal. Since the boot you have ordered is tight on top, the sewing machine won't go all the way in - it's header has a certain size and it just won't get anywhere.

This is NORMAL with the kind of boot that you have.

Please just try to install it so that the shorter stitched edge faces the FRONT of the car. This way you will not be able to see it while you're in the driver's or passengers seat and it'll look perfect.

Got my boots, never got my e brake handle i was billed for.
shifter boot doesnt have anything so that it will stay up and around the aluminum tie down for my shifter like the stock one would.
quite disapointed i will not be able to instal these untill i got my e brake handle and got the boot re-stiched.

Well, the stock one had a zip-tie in the collar. It's the same you need to use, really. Just flip the boot inside-out, slide the trim ring into it, grab it with a zip-tie and proceed to install the bottom.

Please make sure to slide the mounting bracket as far up into the boot as it will go, the boot has an extra 1" added to the bottom, we thought it would help the mounting but turns out to have been unnecessary, so just slide the bracket in deeper.

i didn't use a zip-tie and it works fine, a little lose but does not move. i put the stiching that does not go all the way up in the front and you can't even notice it. also i have a hurst short shifter and ordered stock length and i think it looks great, dont think there a real need to go shorter. only thing i had to do was trim where the clips go on the shift boot bottom bracket, but no big deal. I did use a zip-tie on the ebrake handle tho. note: you will have to shave some of the plastic on the ebrake to get the momo to fit perfectly, pass side and top, be sure to test fit the handle often so you dont over due it. The guides on redlines website were exactly as I did it.

look at my pics posted on last page.
