I think ill pick up a shift boot eventually from you. I had gotten a shift + ebrake for my se-r spec v few years ago.

Problem is I recently had to super glue the top shift pattern back on after it fell off in my hand. I dread having to try to pry that off.

Anybody order orange carbon fiber material? I know you can order physical samples but I'd prefer to see some pics of this material if anybody has any. Thanks!

You got the ***** to tell everybody you got a armrest cover and don't show us pictures? That's a sin and you're going to hell.

Yea, I'll prob post them on OCC too. It was my only thing I didn't really like about the car was the brick for an e-brake. Problem solved! BTW nice colour car!

so uh, when following the directions to pry off the shift knob thinking cracking noises were an alright sound to here, i cracked off 2 huge pieces of the plastic underneath the knob.

how did anyone get it off like this?

now i have to replace the plastic piece and i still don't have the knob off

when i put my Hurst shifter in it was a pain in the ass to get the knob off. I used a large open ended wrench that just fit around the handle and hit the wrench with a hammer

knob is pretty hard to get off. Took me about an hour with 2 screwdrivers to pry it off. Just have to work it slowly.

lol i think my shifter had an error at the factory. when i was installing my b&m shifter, there was a ton of glue holding on my shift knob. i just beat the whole assembly with a hammer until it came off. haha i have never seen another cobalt have glue like mine did and i have installed like 4 sts's

Yeah I broke the same piece..the shitty part is that you cant just order that plastic piec...you have to buy a whole new shifter and assembly...so I just ordered a Hurst short throw setup instead.
