What exactly is this adapter for the MOMO Handle? I didnt see any mention of it in the listed How-To.

The exact same as the SS. no difference what so ever.

 

ss 2.4s and s/c t/c have different shift boots. ours aren't raised like the boosted ones are

not as much slack.. especially since i got a short shifter.

 

The 2.0 cars shift boot and the 2.2/2.4 cars shift boots are different. You cant swap the factory pieces. This is why I want to know if this is an exact fit item or a generic one. If its exact fit is there on for the non boosted guys?

 

I was checking on the adapter issue with LSJ_PUP and there is good news. The stock plastic handle, after you saw off the top part, will hold the handle snugly by itself. So you do NOT need the adapter.

I need to check with the shop that's providing the handle if how that's going to affect the handle prices, they should drop by a few bucks.

 

Is there a boot for the 2.2/2.4 cars?

I'm guessing the reason is that the 2.0/2.2/2.4 comes with no reverse lockout, right?

We'd be happy to make these boots as well. All I'd need are some dimensions. The current fit is a replica of the 2.4 boot, but I have PMed you with the list of dimensions we'd need to make the 2.0 boots, hope you can help us out here so that the 2.0 guys can get in on the GB as well!

no these are 2.0 boots.....Redline just mistyped, look at the pics, all F35 cars.

 

gotcha, cant wait till the GB ordering begins. Ive been wanting a new boot for awhile now.

ps. to redline goods - Whats the Warranty on these boots??

 

There is warranty on the workmanship and leather of course. They are very durable, I've had customers who bought them 5 years ago come back to us for more for their new cars and tell us the original ones on the previous car still looks like new.
