Starting to re-think the e-brake boot. I use my e-brake all the time and I have noticed scratches from the area that goes in and out of the console. Wouldn't this tear up the boot? Don't want to have a nice boot for a little while only to have scratches on it or tears from normal use. Just wondering..

the scratches are there cause it is thick plastic on thick plastic rubbing

the boot will be a world of difference

Here's the update.

1) The group buy entry list is now closed.

2) I have already prepared the page to place the order with the GB prices. I will give you a link for that page later today

That is what I'm hoping for, but it might not be until I've been able to add the MOMO handles, I'm still working with two optional providers of those but it's moving ahead slower than I had hoped.

3) You will be able to pay via PayPal or credit card and select all our available options in terms of shifter height resize, finishing styles, colors, thread, etc. right there on the page.

4) The page will ask you to specify shift boot version (I'm still working on the details), ebrake boot version (MOMO handle or not).

5) It will also ask you for your CobaltSS.net user name.

6) The special payment page will be open through Jan 31st, so there is PLENTY OF TIME TO PAY

7) We will commence shipping orders as soon as 80% of you have paid. Only 2-3 people declared they will be able to send payment with their next paycheck at the end of January, so I assume 80% is a reasonable threshold.

ahh im so excited. the ebrake is the absolute worst looking part of the interior... cant wait to rip out that plastic shapeless ebrake.
