Adam, you should talk to the guys at Stance. The 5k spring rate in the rear really just isn't enough. I watched someone drive my car over a speedbump, and the rear just flopped around, even with the shocks set full stiff.

I just put in 7k's from a BC racing setup, and the car not only feels more balanced, but it wants to rotate into turns more eagerly, and the whole car just feels tremendously better.

The shocks can't handle the more aggressive rate though, so it bounces and bounces lol.

I think if Stance went to a 6k rear, or a 7k with an upgraded shock, the car would be much happier.

Thanks,
-Will

Nah, i've heard the "upgraded" ones are even worse than stock as far as binding goes. but i don't have first hand experience. I just know when stu tried to lower the coilovers on your car, it had a lot of bind, but mine now is lower, and i have no issues

they're probably listed for the SS since thats the most common model.

All cobalt suspension parts are interchangeable.

Will,

if different rates or leangths of springs are needed we can make that happen for you. Contact me or STANCE for that as well as feel free to voice your opinions and suggestions so we can make things happen.

The other thing that we do and can do for you guys that want the ULTIMATE SPRINGS is to get some SWIFT springs thrown in there. Its a sweet upgrade!!!

More travel

30% lighter

less coils

spring can compress more

hold spring rate for longer compression time even at 2 inch compression

ride is smoother

more responsive

better to for real low setups

can go up 2K and retain same ride quality.

$289 SHIPPED for the UPGRADE for those who already have the GR+
