Loosen them with the spanner wrench and spin them off.

Mine came in on Friday so I'll be installing some time this week. One random question, are you supposed to reinstall the rear bump stops with the coils or leave them off?

I wouldn't think bump stops would affect the ride quality, guess I'll try it both ways

Got mine installed over the weekend. Don't mind the filthy car, I live in BFE Ohio so its rarely clean. And is also the reason why I will probably end up raising it some because the quality of our roads is slightly worse than terrible. Right now it's sitting full low in the rear with one lock ring removed, full low in the front with both lock rings still in place. Wheels are 18x8.5 with a 225/40 tire. My left rear has rubbed once or twice on the quarter lip but nothing too bad. Like I said, I'll be raising it up some.

Sedans FTW!!!!! I got my rears installed while I was waiting on more parts the other day. all locking rings still in, think im gonna keep it there since i live in NWohio and completely understand the road issue here in ohio.

I think I'm gonna put the lock rings back in the rear and maybe raise the front a couple turns. I love how it sits right now but it's not practical in the pothole capital of the world lol

Yeah that is a perfect hight looks clean and wraps perfectly but I hear ya ohio roads just blow so hard right now. once i finally get my front installed and my car running I may raise the front to be level instead of all the way dropped.

Im on stockers for wheels and tires though so I may be less likely to rub if i take out a ring in the rears.

You'd definitely be safe on stock wheels. I just get the slightest bit of rub on the sidewall but I've got a good bit more poke than stock wheels

Im really going to have to raise them if I ever get a set of Varrstoens that I have been wanting for a while now... but that will be way down the road.
