THMotorsports: Boost Activated Exhaust CUT-OUT .... MORE HORSEPOWER !!!

i guess the issue or questions are how to make this fit on the cobalt, this section looks like it would replace a big section if not the entire downpipe, you have to remember LNF's don't have a two piece downpipe with a separate up-pipe and midpipe like on a lot of other turbo'd . So is this piece truly bolt on? Idk it seems like a cool idea, wish it was louder like an o2 dump but its a step in the right direction for people i guess

Lol I just brought these up a week ago. You didn't happen to see my post did you? Or is this just a coincidence. I'm surprised it's taken the cobalt world so long to catch on to these.

two things, first you should play the lottery b/c you just brought these up the other day lol second i figured that much, but it looks like the example pipe on the supra is extremely long, so not too sure how much cutting and welding will be required... idk

You would only need to "Y" off the bend on the downpipe like that first picture shows. That's how electric cutouts are installed now. No matter what you will need to do some cutting and welding.

no i totally misread the post, i thought they were offering a down pipe, the Y is all you are getting to begin with

I'd be interested in one of these if it didn't require pain in the ass of getting it welded onto the DP. Maybe sometime down the road though...
Definitely waiting to see some videos of guys on here that purchase one.

Lots of questions to take on here. Hopefully I can put a lot of this to rest.
We already do but Cobalt owners are scared of these.
I believe it. That F20/22 motor loves to breathe!
I didnt see the post. Just coincidence.
Agreed. It must be weld in. This will never be direct bolt in.
You dont have to replace an exhaust. This is very simple. The unit is placed in line anywhere on your exhaust system piping. The best placement and the most logical is at the bottom of your downpipe or in-line with the downpipe. Get the exhaust system you want. Bolt on your new exhaust system then go to a reputable exhaust shop and have the cut-out installed in line.
You could but the point here is that we offer better customer service, we are easily accessible for any questions and we offer a better price that Sound Performance does online. Want to order from the source? Sure! Place your order with SP any day, I'm glad to support my buddies over there but they are tough to get on the phone sometime.
Pricing is very clear above. You purchase the cut-out. any additional Y-Pipe would be extra.

I agree with it being hard to get SP on the phone, it took me several days at times while I was waiting on getting the valve.
Im actually going to remove the Hobbs switch and go with a custom setup. I hate having the extra wiring and solenoids with no place to mount them.

Wish I had known when I bought mine, Im a cobalt owner that isnt too scared to use them. As far as I know, Im the only cobalt owner that uses one.
