So from those pics it doesn't look like any of the mounting holes for the lights are there. True or false?

That's correct, but its an easy fix with a drill. Thats how our current trunks are as well.

if there isnt, uninstall your tail lights, and dip them in something ie: glue, paint, anything to get something coated on the ends, and "stamp" that on your tail lights pockets of the new trunk, then just drill where the marks are left over.

There are no drill holes or indents gentlemen sorry. When making a mold those marks are so small they rarely ever show up. 07MetallicSC's idea is an excellent one, do as he suggested!

Sorry man, these are minor things, nothing to be upset about! Everyone thats bought a OEM style Carbon trunk or even a G5 style carbon trunk has done so with the same non drilled trunk.. it's really not all that difficult. The Chevy owners are suppose to be the handy ones!

Not holes at all. I am sure someone is going to try to get a sticky soon on a DIY for this, it's super simple but I am sure having pictures and how to guide will help!

I had to drill the holes to mount my trunklid carpet, bump stops, open up the key hole a little, and trunk lock, as well as my 3rd brake light mounting on my G5 CF trunk from ED.

I looked at it and was honestly overwhelmed, thinking man im gonna mess up this expensive piece and be pissed. Then after looking at it for 20 mins I finally decided to give it a shot. I drilled very slow, and had my girlfriend hold it for me, took my time, would test fit the area when done, go with a bigger bit if needed, and when done, I had everything on my new trunk that my previous trunk had and it only took me maybe 30 minutes tops. Honestly it was cake. The mounting points were completed though for the hinges.
