Tjin Edition Trunk Group Buy

Foam only cushions the peice when it hits the inside of the box, what you need to do is keep the trunk centered in the middle of the box with lots of gap around so the edges never see anything touching them at all! Some double ply cardboard inner panels would do this and a heavier grade of cardboard box would go a long way. Look at the way any PC or printer comes packaged now a days.

My tips got damaged as well but not too bad though. The trunk was definitely wrapped well but I agree the box should have been packed so it didn't move around. The tips wore right through all the foam, probably from hitting the sides of the empty box as it shifted around.

its a shame we all waited over a full year and it came down to some people having to have to ship their trunks back and everything. my trunk from the pics posted in this thread with the exception of the one TommyP got appeared to have the least damage, and it looks like im the only one who fixed it with the stuff i went with the day after i get it.
has anyone else tried the nail hardner like i used?
