i think he might have accidentally threw them away but i said it was fine because someone said you can use all the stock ones but you clearly cant for the 3rd brake light or hinges.

You can use the OEM 3BL screws. That's what I used.

The OEM ones should work fine.

How the hell do you get them off haha? Didn't really try but the ones for the 3rd brake light disk want to move

Try removing that metal plate.

alright maybe il give it another try. is there even a metal plate for the hinges? i dont think you can take those out. because after you take off the bolt there is just the screw idk how you would get that out but i didnt really look at it.

did you put yours on already?

they are like the clips for the side skirts somewhat. you have to pull them the right way to get them off the stock trunk.

lol I'm assuming you're talking about the piece that connects the trunk like to the car. If so I just bought extra washers and used the screws that they sent me to secure it. I guess you can try to find a screw a little bigger and force it in to rethread the fiberglass idk

Same here. The bolts they used to hold the pieces of wood on, with a couple of washers.

was there ever any confirmation that the g5 trunk would fit on the cobalt coupe? i just read the updates on the first post. obviously it would be absurd to read through 84 other pages for the answer. thanks in advance

yes the G5 carbon trunk fit on the coupes. there is just no reverse lights

the threads for the nuts for the third brake light. do they come off? or do i just use the screws in the bag provided and not have to use the thread that attatches to the stock 3rd brake light mounting area and that nut.

We used the nuts and bolts in the bag.
