well, I'm more into road coarse racing......and a supercharger build is ideal IMO. Plus I think they are fun.
Don't get me wrong, I've owned turbo cars....and I love them too. I just think it's lame to not support one or the other by saying it's a waste of money. But whatever

When I had the TVS on my car when I was testing for Harrop, I was neck and neck with my buddies Rebel turbo cobalt. I know it was a long time ago with the rebel reference haha.

For that person thinking they will get a TVS for $1800 new, keep dreaming. I was offered one from Harrop themselves for $1850, I would then have to consider shipping. I sure do miss my TVS and if I had the funds I would purchase one again but right now it isn't wise for me to spend $2k when I have other things in life to spend money on... ugh, the temptation though.
Would you take a Civic in on trade? LOL!

200 dollars fedex freight direct from Harrop. I have purchased a number of them, very good people to deal with , and an excellent product. DarkChild is absolutely correct. Nothing to do with Canada or USA making a difference. Shipping is shipping.

well harrop was making them, but i thought they discontinued the lineup with the discontinuation of the LSJ lol

Harrop only had two on the shelf when I last purchased from them in the fall. They were keen to do another run if I wanted to sign up. I wasnt prepared to do that, its a big investment, and I choose not to do buys financed on deposits from customers.
Harrop are a serious engineering firm with good capacity.

its ashame their prices arent more reasonable to their eaton counterparts, they probably would sell alot more of them. I know id go as far as charging one of them to a credit card if they were reasonably priced, but the 2000+ price tag vs the 800 dollar M62 makes them terrible if you look at price vs performance gained. I got my M62 for 215 bucks as well in great condition.

the reason for the price tag is because its aftermarket vs production. the cobalt m62 was designed and built with gm covering the costs, and 10,000+ were made. yes, you can get a new m62 for $800ish because of this. the harrop costs what it does because all the R&D and tooling is getting covered on, what, realistically less than 1000 units. its just mass production, the more they make the cheaper they can be.
