If I selected the UPS express shipping does that mean I could have this as son as fri or sat?

If you select the UPS Express shipping, it would ship tomorrow and arrive on Friday unless there was some severe weather or some other exception.

Hi HB_SS/TC,

We are quite certain that the short shifter will fit the SS/TC, however we do not have 100% confirmation yet. We sent out a short shifter for testing in a SS/TC today, so we should know in about a week if it fits for sure or not.

We have had a lot of demand from people who would like to order the short shifter at the intro price, but have to wait for payday. As a result we have decided to extend the pre-order price until the end of the month so these customers can benefit from the lower price as well.

You should probably wait to see if it fits the SS/TC, and if it does the special price will still be on our site until the 30th of this month. We will certainly post in this thread right away if it fits.

ouch Express shipping was 45 dollars and it won't be here till monday. Was hoping to install it on my day off. Oh well lesson learned, ground is almost just as quick....

Cool, I guess we'll have a couple of SS/TC's as test cars. Honestly I would have liked to do the test install ourselves but we could not locate one locally. It seems they got to Canada much later than the US and no one in our local club has one yet.

It should be there today, when we ship Express it is supposed to be overnight anywhere in the US. Unless there is some severe weather (Hurricane) or some other abnormality you should receive the package overnight.

I think that the install in the SS/TC will be just like the SS/SC. There are people already with "other" short shifters made for the SS/SC in their SS/TC's. I'm just glad that TWM made one for this car. I wasn't really impressed with the "other" offerings. Like I said, I will report back and let everyone know how it goes.

Awesome, that was fast! UPS's tracking info is rarely correct for Express packages online, I'm really glad it arrived today!

Hardest part is getting the shift knob to line up, I can't get it right lol.

Did you manage to get the shift knob lined up? It's important to install the low profile jam nut before the aluminum insert to be able to set the knob orientation. Basically follow step 46 in the manual and you should be able to get it set right after a couple tries, here's a link to the manual in color: http://www.twmperformance.com/manual...all-manual.pdf

I just got mine a few hours ago! Sadly I can't install it =( I have to take my car to the dealer to look at my axles again. I had them replaced TWICE already and they are clicking really bad again.

I just finished installing my new short throw shifter and i have to say what a difference!!! Every gear is shorter and much more feel to the shift. Install was very easy with great instructions. Fit and finish is perfect! This shifter is definitely worth the extra money over the others. Thanx for a great Shifter TWM
