Any one have the Pro-kit springs?

I dont want my car slammed. I saw the pro-kit lowers the rear .5 and the front 0, and that would be good enough to level the stock suspension out. Anyone have the pro-kit that they want to sell, or pics to see the stance?

Those numbers are for a FE5 suspension (SS S/C). The drop will be more significant for a FE3 suspension (2.4L SS) and even more significant for for a FE1 suspension (2.2L base models).

I have the SS/SC so it would be .5 for me.

I cant justify paying that much for basically 2 rear springs tho.

Yeah the pro kit is pointless.
Get the Sportlines. They are 1.0 Front 1.3 Rear. I love them.

I got the pro-kit, the front doesn't drop but the back hugs the tires very nicely and bring the car level. The is a little sitffer through the twisties, I would prefer the more drop though. I sent you a PM let me know. thanks!

Kyle, I have the prokit srpings on my car. If you are buying them for the purpose of the 0.5 on the rear, I agree with you that they are too much $$. Personally, I like the fact that they did not affect my normal driving ride quality on bit and when I lay that car in a hard turn, she just grabs and goes. I logged 0.93 lateral g's on stock tires on the road. And that was sustained through a turn, not just a momentary spike with the whip of the wheel. Now mind you, I do have the polyurethane control arm bushings and a strut tower brace.

Note that many other threads out here talk about the crappy ride quality that people have with their lowering springs. You will not get that with the pro-kit springs. They take about 1.5 hours to put on with the right tools.

Very true the don't effect ride quality, but improve performance.

btw took me 3 hours with no spring compressor, LMAO And those bolts that hold in the Spidle are a biotch to get off!

There is more to the Pro-kit then just the small amount of drop. They are a progressive rate coil opposed to the stock linear rate. The pressure required to compress the spring increases exponentially as it compresses. It makes for a much stiffer hold in turns.
