B&G coilover problems on TC!!!
I have an 09 TC and the B&G RS2 coilovers are knocking around. When I turn to the L and R something knocks in the front end. Only after purchase and install did I hear that there are problems with this kit fitting the 08 and 09 TC's. It is advertised that it fits and it clearly does not. During install I even called B&G with the GM tech present and we were told it was installed properly.
I really need help from anyone who has has problems with this as well on the 08/09's. Please give all information/intel you have with this issue if you know what is wrong and what things you have tried to fix the problem. What is making the noise? What is breaking? etc... I need to gather this info to help me/us get this addressed.
Please only responses with specific info and/or experiences with this on 08/09 TC's!
Thanks guys

Thats what I'm trying to find out....all I know is it's knocking turning both ways. I know a couple of people said they knew what was wrong but I can't remember and I'm trying to gather it up here and get more info. The vendor I bought it from is doing a ton helping me as he was unaware there were issues. I need detailed info please!

pm me your email. I will send you my emails to b&g on my problems. they have pics and everything.
I bought mine from gravana. From day one I had popping noises from the frt. end (I'm a master ase/nissan tech with gtr certs). I removed and installed the coilovers multiple times. everything was torqued to gm specs. I drove the car for 3 weeks hoping the noise would go away. then BAM I broke a sway bar link. the problem is the frt. sway bar is much stiffer on the ss/tc causing the mounting point to twist and make noise until it rotates so much that the sway bar link breaks! (50.00 from gm x3 times...) there is to much play where the susp bearing sits on the coilover spring hat which also makes noise. I had to put a zip tie inside the bearing and smash it down onto the hat to get that noise to stop. I tried everything that mike migs at B&G said. I also heard noise in the rear. on inspection I found that the shocks were rubbing the lower susp. member. I had to shime with washers to stop it from rubbing. I also had spring noises from the rear. (I was told to go to home depo find some rubber/foam to quiet spring noise) 1400.00 susp and I need to go to home depo.......................................
3 months after fighting with b&g I finally went back to gravana because Mike Migs wouldn't stand behide his product. Ryan at gravana did his best and was able to give me store credit......
I get an email from gravana with a link to sukxost thread about how his b&g coilovers are working great. (as a kind of slap in the face email) AND THE BAMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!! Look at the problems his having now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I will never do Bis. with b&g and gravana (after the e-mail you sent me ryan)

Thanks for the info King! VERY helpful. I sent you my email in a PM. WORST part is I already sold my stock struts to a buddy back in WA so I can't even take this off til I get something new. UGH Paying for install....then de-install...then install AGAIN of something new/different is gonna cost me a ******* TON!

FYI... Just so the post doesn't stray off topic about something else... Brandon purchased the coilovers through me back in Dec. I'll be watching this and will do what I can to help out.

hmm i had a set on my balt, have you checked the swaybar endlinks? something on the front struts might be loose, the strut tower nuts or the big nut on the strut tower. I found mine were loose.

Mike won't be of much help as he didn't do anything for me... nor would they back their product.

your swaybar endlink is rubbing on the very bottom of your coilover tower....mine did it...i fixed mine...i dont know how you guys supension is setup but is the sway bar mount adjustable?? if so you need to adjust it till it stops....it will be a time consuming process but its what has to be done if the bar mount is adjustable...it has nothing to do with the sway bar stiffness...

That's me. I also got the "Oh you must be doing wrong" thing from them. I was told that another model from the same manufacturer fit so the ones I had should fit too. I had to point out to Ryan that they had test fit the wheels and confirmed they fit on the forums with plenty of clearance.
I was planning on getting the RS2's. Now I'm out even more money and forced to buy **** I don't want. Awesome.

The email was not intended to be a "slap in the face," I just thought you would be interested to see it... After all the times we talked I would have thought you would know I am not the type to do something like that... I tried to handle the situation as best as we could and make you happy.
I don't want to turn this into an internet pissing match so I will keep this short... You were informed fully about both the wheels and the center caps before hand. We have clear cut policies as well on our site. I appreciate that you followed my repeated insistence to fit them again, because that is what was suggested to us. The wheels ended up getting scratched as you said (on the second attempt to fit that we did tell you to do), but we still took them back. Normally in this situation we would not have taken them back at all OR given you any store credit. We did both. Please do not feel pressured to get the RS2's, or any product you do not want. Your store credit will not expire.

I'm sorry you feel that way, it truly was not my intention to shove anything in your face. I really did think you would be interested to see/read about it after how long you had been dealing with your car and the coilovers.

sry for jumping off topic. you really should look at the bearing to spring hat fitment. I was getting spring "pop" noise when turning as well. that was do to the fact that the spring hat is to small for the bearing hole which allows to much play and instead of the coilover turning on the bearing its turning the spring which causes noise. no matter how losse or tight you make the spring tension.
