So are the endlinks only a problem with the SS/TC's?

Would it be possible to switch to SS/SC endlinks?

Yes There have been rumors of the TCs having stiffer front sway bar links which is what we believe could be causing the main issue.. We are going to make our own adjustable endlinks we should have about 10 Sets in less then 2 weeks.. if you are interested Please contact one of my vendors.. We will also have 15 sets of camber pillowball mounts available at the same time also..

save yourself some issues go to powergridinc.com for droplinks. You will probably find you have a geometry issue and a strength issue with your coil over body/drop link location/articulation.... of the coil over body through steering motion.

Theres only one FE5 link available.....if your SC or TC needs links they use the same one.

For one........so it does not look like I'm on my way to a mudding competition. The 2"+ wheel gap is hideous and if anyone wants to bash me for putting a coilover kit on my car(not knowing that I would have issues) they can take thier comments elsewhere. Not sure if you were kidding but I hate seeing people get bashed on here for modding thier car by people who are usually too ******* broke or don't have the ***** to try certain things on thier car. I'm currently working on a fix and B&G is being helpful.

Fure future reference see COTM Mar 09 winner.

Well I'll take my lumps cause my post came out alot harsher sounding than intended...not scared to modify my cars (see sig.) there's just plenty of posts about coilover issues regarding 09ss & I have plenty of $ to spend on toys. I like take my time and research prior to purchasing aftermarket parts to help avoid the problems you are unfortunately dealing with.

I checked into coils for 4 or 5 weeks.......I heard from 2 or 3 guys that had them with no issues and even B&G said they fit(as they DO) but they just have something knocking. The mechanic I know took the sway links off......still happening. He even took the struts completely out and refitted them in and they are still knocking. B&G says they know what the problem is(since the sway arm links was not the problem) and I'm just waiting to hear back from them on what to do next.

hey, mine made all kinds of weird noises, you should lift the car up personally, pull the front wheels off, and make sure, with the suspension unloaded, that there is a very small amount of tension still on the spring. Mine had none, and that allowed it to move around and make pretty bad clunking popping noises.

I just got off the phone with Mike.
We were looking at your area, and there looks to be a few more chevy dealers around there according to google. Don't know if they're still open though.

Didn't know you lived so close to Temple. I've made my way there a few times when i lived in Round Rock for the track.

There IS a dealership in Killeen but they are ****-holsters! Beyond that it was told to me that they won't allow thier techs to work on a car with aftermarket suspension work as it's not warrantied and they can't guarantee the work on something they are not familiar with. The tech that WAS helping me is rumored to be working out of his garage somehow to make money in the meantime til he finds work so there is still hope I guess.

Tom: I have a jack and jackstands but the tech has already spoken with Mike at B&G and they think they know what needs fixed and I'm just waiting for him ot take whatever apart and verify. I don't want to say as I don't want to mis-speak and say something that is wrong in respect for B&G as they are trying to help fix this deal
