Comparing Pedders & Eibach Sportline Springs
I just changed my Sportlines to Pedders. Also changed original struts/shocks to SS/TC struts/shocks. I have seen a lot of discussion about ride height and quality. Here's my $0.02.
Here's a shot of my car with the sportlines: Measured to the fender lip. Front was 25 7/8" rear was 26"
Here's my car with the Pedders:Measured to the Fender lip. Front is 25 7/8" reaar is 26 3/4". There is a noticable difference in the rear.
Wheels are SS/TC with 225/40/18 tires. (old wheels in 1st pic, but ride height measurements made with same wheel tire combo)
As for the very subjective ride quality: Sportlines were too harsh for my taste. The primary reason for the change. The Pedders are still quite stiff, but noticably better, especially on small bumps. At highway speeds not much difference. Cornering with the Pedders feels great and completely in control. I am very happy with the change.
If your interested I am selling the Eibachs: Add
