Cool Craigslist FTW

Bought a set of brand new, uninstalled, h&r springs from craigslist last night, $100 guy wanted $200. I was wondering, if anyone had them on their car, how you like them, any issue/problems i should be aware of? I can do more research, and i will, i just wondering.
Should i get my alignment checked as soon as i put them on, or should i wait overnight/a week to let them settle before doing an alignment.
The springs came with a camber kit. I really dont understand, is the bolt just a bolt and the camber piece is the washer type thing that puts the camber on the wheel? Should i use the camber kit, i am on stock ss/sc rims.
I also bought a second pair of stock ss/sc rims as well. He had the full set, with tires and wanted 100$, couldn't pass it up. Tires have 20% he says, i haven't inspected yet, thinking about burning them up, lol. but the rims are stock gunmetal, with a bit of wear so i was thinking of cleaning them and painting them black.

it would be good to get an alignment. I would wait a day or 2 then go get one so yes they settle a little. **** i still need an alignment on my car i slammed it on coils like almost 2 weeks ago lol but i hardly drive my car and work is only 2 miles away.

Didnt get to do the springs this past weekend, ended up spending sat doing the rims and sunday i took a nice long nap. This next weekend i will hopefully get to the springs. The new tires are 225, old ones being 215. Both are 45/18's. After putting these on ive had rubbing issues. hoping when i mount my tires onto the black rims, the balance/alignment/etc will fix the noise. Does anyone know of the issue im talking about, im waiting a little, dont have much to drive so not worried about the issue that much, just it needs to get fixed asap. How did you fix it?

Hopefully you didn't do a hell of a good job on painting them... When you get new tires out on I guarantee your rims are gonna get nicked up a bit when you go to put new tires on. It's enviable.

I really like my chrome. But i think the black does make it look fierce, cant wait to see how much lower it gets with the springs.
Honestly, i did spend some time on the rims, but it was my first attempt on something with sanding/multiple coats/clear. If they get some scratches from a remount, oh well, fix the scratches, call it a day.
I wanted to try it on these cuase my next project will be murdering out my interior. I will post some pics to show when im done. Ive been thinking about it, ive done a few headliners before, never with a sunroof, does it make it alot harder?

what size of tire are you running? also what type of shocks and struts? i have h&r springs and i am considerably lower then you. i do realize they need to settle, but not at any point in time was mine riding to what appears to be high. maybe its just the pics giving me a optical illusion. but i can't even shove a finger under the front and i would be lucky to get 1 under the rear.

I'm willing to bet that he has a different version of the H&Rs than you do. They have 3 different sets of springs availible.

Pick those up. It's $450. As long as they don't have any cracks or bends, I'd do it. The lips need work but at least you'd have a set of aftermarket wheels.
