ECS/TCS/ABS acting up - causing hesitation while driving
I have a 2009 Cobalt SS/TC with the GMS1 kit.
Amongst other problems, ive had an issue lately with a hesitation while driving, usually around 2k rpm. It has recently gotten much worse, to the point of almost undrivable. Ive also had a problem with my abs acting up, almost every time i brake it has been activating and giving that sort of rough feeling brake pedal. Finally i got fed up with the abs acting up and pulled the 40A fuse out from under the hood, abs light and everything came on obviously, and the pedal stopped acting up, but oddly enough, my hesitation went away. Could this have been a traction control/ecs thing causing this hesitaiton?
Does anyone know if you can read the bcm codes with torque pro? There wasnt a code thrown when i pulled the fuse but it has thrown intermittent codes for abs/ecs systems ive just never been able to read them with anything ive got. If not i will probably see if i can borrow a buddies scan tool and look for weird readings on the wheel speed sensors.
